River walleye. It was my last cast before the thunderstorm hit. Biggest walleye I've caught. My son landed the fish for me and to save time I quickly snapped a few photos. Didn't want to stress the fish out too much. Held it by the tail for a few seconds before it kicked off. Huge mouth. Long, heavy, thick, healthy fish. No measuring device with me. Beautiful animal.
That is a Bagley lure I've had from the mid-80's, but don't know the exact name of the model. It floats, rattles, and has a really tight fast wobble. I've caught many fish on that thing. I wonder if they still make them?
