Went out this weekend for snakeheads. Started early but the bite and activity was very dead. Rarely saw or heard snakeheads. Around 8:30 I heard one popping deep in the reeds behind a log. I threw my Spro frog behind the log and he took it. Didn’t realize til after I brought it in the boat it was protecting a fry ball- first time landing a fry ball fish! Small one, 3 lbs. Lost a little bass on a swimbait and had the tiniest perch try to take my chatterbait later in the day.
