Is the date set for this year's tournament yet?

I've heard thru the grapevine this tourney has been discontinued. Wait for the official word from other CBKA members on this board, but i've been told to look at the Tangier Classic or another one the name escapes me.

We've had a great run and really appreciate the support over the years, but we will not be holding a tourney this year. We'd welcome others to step forward to carry the torch next year and beyond.

I cannot begin to fathom the work it required behind the scenes.

It was a lot of fun for a lot of folks and it was for good cause.

Sorry to hear that, but I understand. I worked with an organization that ran a bull and oyster roast every year, so I can appreciate how much work goes into an event like that. Even though I am sorry there will not be another event, I am glad that I was able to take part in it last year - it was another step in my education process of kayak fishing.
