I finally got around to using the charter fishing trip I won in last years CBKA tournament. June 21st, we went out aboard the Katherine, with Capt. Sam Gotsis and Mate George Gotsis. It was a live line trip. It took a while to make bait, about 60 spot. However, the effort was well worth the time. Following the move to go for rockfish, it only took about an hour to catch our limit of 12 rockfish. Most were in the 25" to 32" range. There were also several missed fish. It was steady action for that hour. It was great fun. Sam and George Gotsis provide an extremely fun charter trip aboard the Katherine. I must also say, this is another reason to fish in the CBKA tournament in September. There are great prizes to be won.
