I have a elite4 dsi that will not find satellites.how can I make it find them on my unit thanks.i looked at the Manuel n can't seem to work it

Make sure you are out in the open (not in a garage or basement). The unit should pick up satellites automatically. If it does not, it may not be functioning. If it is still under warranty, you can contact the company from whom you bought it.
One other idea is to make sure that there are not any software updates for that model. The Lowrance website has different versions of the software available for downloading.John Veil

GPS units need to download the "almanac" periodically. If it hasn't updated recently it will take a while before it locks in.Hobie fleet:

15 minutes outside should be all it takes for almanac download.
