We went to Baltimore for NYE and ended up at a bar right by Tochterman's. Not a good idea for the wallet. In any event, I am now the proud owner of a few bags of feathers, flashing, glue, and thread. What they didn't have in stock are pre-made spinnerbait heads. I assumed I could order some online but a few hours of looking yesterday came up empty. I found a ton of places that sold 3/8oz and up and a few places that sold 1/4oz ones, but nothing lighter. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Try ebay:
look up: spinnerbaits 1/8 oz.
I found a guy selling lots of 25 unpainted.
Also: Hagen's
They had bulk pricing listed for packages of 1,000!
but they may deal in quantities as small as 100.
It doesn't hurt to ask.
You want to get the R-bend model if possible rather than the twisted eye.
for total DIY
Barlow's #473288 which is a Do-it crappie spinner jig mold.
The accessories are listed along with the mold.
The size 455 hook size 1 is out of stock but a 1/0 spinnerbait hook will fit.Last edited by bignose; 01-02-2015, 02:23 PM.

One option for really light spinnerbaits like that would be to go with small jig heads and separate "spinnerbait arms"

Thanks for the replies guys.
Scorpioreno, I saw those but was hoping for something less finished.
Bignose, I did a bunch of looking on ebay and never found exactly what I was looking for, unfinished R-bend heads with a smooth-ish shank. Hagen's was one of the places I found, but could not get their catalog to load last night. I just tried again with a different browser and it seems like they do sell in lots of 100, I will give them a call. I actually have a few hundred pounds of lead, I was going to cast bullets when I was into shooting. Right now I lack a good place to set up a casting op, but if I end up enjoying jig tying I will figure something out.
Turtle, I have some spinnerbait arms but have found that they don't run as well as cast-in ones and seem to pick up a ton more weeds and other debris. I was going to start with them in any case as I try and figure out what I am doing.Drew
