another question for all of ya to help me with... i do not have a garage so i am storing my pro angler up off the ground on two saw horses for now. i know its not perfect but here is the question. will two saw horses be fine, or should i add a sheet of plywood on the saw horses first? that only crossed my mind to maybe displace the weight across the wood instead of just at two contact points with the sawhorses. any ideas or suggestions would be awesome. i don't have the money to build a shed big enough to cover the PA anyways. i like the sawhorses cause i can drag the yak right out of my truck and onto them. plus it puts the yak at perfect hight to work on it and add mods. thanks again

I would be a little concerned about the weight of the PA on two pressure points and the possibility of warping over time on the unsupported portions of the hull.
In April, after two years of storing my two kayaks on carpets on the garage floor, I built a rolling rack for them. I built it mainly to save space in my cramped garage.
I used 1 inch PVC pipes as the main support for each kayak. I placed 7 PVC pipes as support points over an 8 foot length. Thus far it has worked well. As an added benefit, the PVC acts like rollers to help with the loading and unloading.

What about having the supports run the length of the kayak instead of across it? I guess similar to a boat trailer.
I'll have to put together a list like that. I seem to forget something that i want to have with me on a regular basis.WS ATAK

I used 1 1/2" pvc length wise and it seems to work fine. The pvc deflects and actually cradles the boats.
This boat has a hull shape just like a pro angler.

The combined weight of the Native and Hobie, is about 120 pounds.

I hang my Mirage Drive from the ceiling. You can see it in the background in front of the window.
This unit is in my "kayak cave" garage. You can see my fly tying/jig making station in front of the boats.
