I'm guessing most folks on this board are OCD in one way or another.
One manifestation of my OCD is the frustrating way a normal sized milk crate fit into the back of a PA12. There's basically a bunch of unused room because no crates (that I know of) fit the oddly shaped area.
Earlier today I was at Walmart (confession, I hate Walmart on an intellectual/moral level, but I shop there for fishing stuff) and I noticed Sterilite was selling back-to-school organizers for $2.50, so I grabbed one. They had 4 or five colors to choose from.
Turns out the width is almost a perfect fit, and it's about half the weight of a normal milk crate. I know milk crates aren't *that* heavy, but I suppose any human-powered vessel deserves to have weight taken into consideration. And it's only $2.50...probably less than the cost of a normal milk crate. Perhaps best of all, it doesn't LOOK like a milk crate on the back of my kayak :P
Time will tell about how well the plastic stands up to UV.
