Looks like the Lowrance Elite Chirp 4 is available in 50 83 and 200 hz transducers. Which do I want for kayak fishing around Va. Beach?

Both of my Elite units have the 83/200 455/800 transducers; that is a multi frequency transducer and it works well for traditional sonar and down imaging for inshore and freshwater fishing.

The transducer Cowpokey listed is the medium to high frequency setup that is best for shallow water up to a few hundred feet. The 50/200 variant (low/high) is designed to work at greater depths than a few hundred feet.Red Wilderness Tarpon 120

I had to go double check, actually I got my lowrance @ west marine in delaware when it was on sale & got a 50$ rebate & it came with the 83/200 455/800 transducers rolled into 1 "HDI Skimmer". it is a bit bigger that the transducers i had for me HDS 7.
It is no longer on sale, but this is what i have. I paid 199 before rebate.
