  • Homemade wreck anchor

After the success of the wreck anchor LL at the bay bridge i decided to make my own. 1 clothes hanger, 1 2x4, a piece of steel pipe, molten lead and a hammer i came up with this.

    who wants to test it?

That should do a fine job. I was going to make one out of a 4" section of 2" dia PVC tube, PVC End cap, Coat Hangers and some concrete.

This one you made is much better. Any idea on the weight?

this one is going to redfish at the m&g i havent figured out the weight however it may just barely be 1lb. I covered it in gloxw in the dark jig paint so the lead exposure will be less and tied it to a 50' nylon rope. All it needs is a float of somekind and it will be good to go.
