Sonarphone

Any of you ever use the Sonarphone on their Yaks? I got a new Kayak and thought I would update my Lawrance4. I purchased a new ipad for my wife for christmas so I have her old IPad2 not being used. I am looking at the Tbox version. Any opinions?

Also there is a ray marine Wi-Fish. That seems to have a better scan image but the transducer is kinda large and I am not sure it will fit in my Old Town Minn Kota transducer mounting location.
