Native Slayer Propel 13

I just bought a new Native Slayer Propel 13. yes, I am excited to have finally pulled the trigger on this yak. Does anyone have reviews or tips on using the Propels?

One thing I was told was to launch it rear-end first to avoid damage to the rudder. This might be common sense for rudders, but being my first yak with a rudder, I thought it a helpful tip.

You will find many posts that will help you learn about the Slayer Propel 13. I have made many posts on Snagged line over the past two years talking about the Slayer Propel kayaks. Do some searching and spend some time reading. Also there is a Native Owners Group Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/231976636990928/.

Regarding the rudder, the standard black plastic rudder is very rugged. You can bend it and support the weight of the kayak on it. However if you buy an aftermarket rudder such as the Boonedox or the BerleyPro, you will want to be more careful about the rudder when loading and unloading.
