I have been using my Cabela's hoodie for a month or two now and wanted to give an update. After maybe 3-4 trips on my yak and dozens of bank/wading trips, I am still really loving this thing. It is far far cooler then I expected and even the slightest wind blows right through it. The hood is working great, if I wear a hat I can hang the hood on the brim and it keeps my entire face well in the shade for all most all of the day. It seems to resist snags when walking through brush and despite my fears, it takes far long longer to get offensively stinky then one would think. I do a lot of after work bank fishing and I just leave it in my car for weeks between washing.
