got some goodies in the mail

With all of Pinch's great creations and the hot jig bite i was inspired to buy some stuff online.

I got some plain shad heads and bullet heads in 3/4 oz and 1 oz. I also picked up some skirts in various color combinations.



A little heat, powder paint, eyes and some dashes of highlight colors and i came up with these.




Green Chartreuse top / Chartreuse middle / Flo Orange bottom with Fire Tiger skirt



Chartreuse / Green Chartreuse mix with a green and chartreuse skirt



Flo Orange top / Chartreuse bottom with a orange and chartreuse skirt



Chartreuse top / White bottom with a chartreuse and white skirt


Hopefully i will get to try these later this week. Maybe they will catch the fancy of a 30" rock.

Slip a BKD on them and you are good to go for that 30 incher!

Mike's swamp munkeys!!! Looking good! I'm planning on hitting the bridge Wednesday after work, come field test them? I watched the video, well done out there! Saturdays are tough, great to stick one on a jig!

I think you are right about the rod, needs to be a very fast action rod to get the feel for it.

Let me know when you start teaching classes, I need to make some of those and some rods!

2 things I need to ask, well one ask another comment. Redfish where are you going to put in at the bridge Id like to join ya. And memorymaker NICE JOB on the Jig heads. I have a few that area plain and been thinking about doing some powder painting myself.

Where did you get the bullet heads? I might have to rig up some plain ones.

I got the lead heads from eBay. I think it was around $10 for 25 shipped.
