Padding for Paddles???

Does anyone know if aftermarket padding is available that would fit on kayak paddles?

I would like accomplish 2 goals:

1. to suppress the "thunk" sound that happens when a paddle is laid down on the kayak. I fish some in some very close quarters and feel that the noise can scare fish away.

2. to make paddles less prone to sliding when resting on a (listing) kayak.
