Hook 4 GPS/Fish Finder (Severn River) Question

Hello,

I have always followed this forum and enjoy reading the reports from everyone. I have a couple of little ones and only get out 3-4 times a year (if I'm lucky).

I recently bought a Hook 4 GPS/Fish Finder and was playing around with the map exploring the contours/areas of the bay and noticed that the contours cut out on the Severn River just north of little round bay. Does anyone have this problem, or is this a manufacturer issue that Lowrance should be contacted?

Check the navionics webapp (www.navionics.com) for additional detail. Base maps often leave much to be desired and you can add a navionics card if you want more detail.

The other thing you can do is go to the Gofree site, sign up and download the social community maps to an SD card for the various areas you are interested in. The standard maps do not contain the most recent data. Another way is to create your own maps.
