Lowrance Hook 4

Hey guys, I had a Bass Pro gift card burning a hole in my pocket. I decided to up grade my inexpensive fish finder on my kayak. I purchased the Lowrance Hook 4, is it supposed to come with the micro SD card or do I have to purchase it separate ?

Blank (i.e. Sandisk/Samsung) SD & MicroSD cards have dropped in price significantly. I think black friday of 2016 I picked up a few 128gb MicroSD for under $20 each.

Do your research before you buy, Lowrance just released a firmware update for the Elite Series 5/7/9 Ti, which must be loaded onto a MicroSD however they recommend no larger size than 32gb capacity.

If you plan to use the card in another device as well (mine double's as my GoPro MicroSD card) buy the best recommended, my GoPro requires the 'Extreme' series for recording HD/4K video.
