All of the Endura Max motors have a PWM in the circuitry.

Yes they do. Perhaps you'll want to edit your post to include your motor as being an 40 Endura max instead of 40 Endura....lol (although your sig does list it as such)

Sorry, I guess my fingers were faster than my brain.

Along those lines, I was out in the Bay today and after three hours of running around and trolling, my motor voltage was 12.68. PWM's were invented for motor kayakers.
