  • Kayak seats

So I’m in the market for some new kayak seats. Currently I just have the stock ocean kayak seats. I’ve owned the moken before and liked the kingfisher seats, but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any other clip in style seats they liked. I was looking in the kingfisher seat. The GTS pro seat, and Austin kayak carry’s the cloud 10 seats. I’ve never seen nor herd of cloud 10 so I don’t know how well they would work out. I like my seat backs mid to high back and usually end up paddling around 10 miles on a trip to the bay. Currently I use a squish brand bad for the longer trips. But would like to get a nice set for the tandem before vacation this year. So what are you using? Pros? Cons?

Check out this conversation from October, it touches on the same topic and may answer a lot of your questions.

Hit up Jet to see if he'd sell you his brand new surf to summit seat. Before kayak company's started coming out with the mesh camping chair style, sts had the top of the line seats.
