Gerber fishing tools

I saw Gerber's new line of fishing related tools a while back but forgot about them. Recently I've started seeing them for sale all over the place. Has anyone had a chance to test any of them out?

They seemed a bit pricey to me, but I don't have an issue spending the money if the quality (read longevity) is there.

Gerber traditional tools have always been pricier.

They do carry Gerber at walmart now, so i'd be wary build quality

Havent seen the fishing line of tools, very interested

Hobie is carrying them in their accessories catelog and the astrick next to the fishing tolols states For Freshwater Use. Just a head up before any hardcore saltwater guys waste the money. They do look nice though.

I believe that the Gerber quality of today is not like it was in the past. I have some old Gerber knives and tools and they are first rate. The current knives don't hold an edge anywhere like the old ones.
