So..is the Element worth the money? Waiting for your review...My sweet spot for a high end kayak unit is $600....depending on where you buy and what your budget is this unit is about double that price...maybe for a 40K powerboat I would consider this one...every manufacturer has entry level, intermediate and high end units...and the high end units are way, way above my budget...it was a stretch for me to spring for a new Hook2-7 TS, only because I won my fantasy football league championship and got a nice check in the mail...being retired on fixed income reduces the amount of folding money you carry around, but increases the free time you have to devote to hobbies you want to spend it on...gardening is one of my hobbies I really enjoy and the power tools, rear tune rototillers, supplies, etc. can put a dent in your “play” money...so looking at the vast choices in electronics suitable for our kayak fishing...from the basic to the high end...Raymarine is certainly one of the names we look at for innovation and quality in marine electronics...so the question is...how do you like it, have you used it much...pros, cons, problems, solutions?
