With This recent cold weather it has done a number on my batteries. In particular, My power pole remote battery keeps dying the second I try to use it. So in an effort to resolve that issue without carrying multiple nickel sized batteries on me I decided to hard wire my remote to my main power source. Found a voltage reducer from 12v to 3v. Soldered somethings together, and I made a riser for the remote to house the voltage reducer. Also Epoxied some areas afterwards to protect everything from corrosive moisture. 9AA65DE9-AE38-47A5-BA8B-A2B20DDE525F.jpgC487B5E2-62D1-4D6E-87F7-8C9456E82083.jpg8A027FEC-8747-4DB6-A444-1CCF15096711.jpg63FD5501-1FCF-4F64-BCBD-556FBF16415B.jpg
So the goal is to never worry about replacing batteries and consolidate my power sources to one source. Still need to install it. Will update
