I've got a Mercury outboard jet for my jon boat. I'd like to see the mechanics of that electric jet kayak and how it's remotely controlled. -
So much for stealth fishing. Those jets make a lot of turbulence and noise.

Jets Lose Efficiency
I know that gasoline powered outboard jet engines lose about 33% of their horsepower compared to a regular prop engine. So a 30 horsepower prop engine will only equate to about a 20 horsepower jet. So unless this thing is somehow more efficient, I would think that a Torqueedo would do the job more efficiently for you.
I've seen videos of a gas powered jet kayak. Very cool, but not cheap.Comment
