Matt ....... have you gotten yours yet? ......... I spoke to Luther last week and he said it just came in the end of last week .......... haven't gotten mine yet bu he is making me a couple of the backers for the Torqeedo .........

Another great new product is the Fullback backer plates ....... they serve as backer plates for the gear tracks and mighty mounts that will get into places you can't reach .........

Currently I have STS on the side of my kayak, but it probably won't hold up very long. I'll be looking for this stuff in the future. I was about to send Luther an email for protyping, but didnt think I would get a chance to really give it a good test soon enough.
Don't get me wrong, I will probably do the same. I just picked up a Hobie PA from BYB this past Saturday and I'm not looking to scuff it up, t least not on it's first voyage. Pics soon to come....

Does it peel off easy? Say in the future if other colors become available and you want to change out the black.

Where are you guys fishing that you get all the scuffs? What is it with tog fishing that leads to the tight structure? Never done it myself, so I'm just curious.

Also, nothing I've found sticks to the hull of the kayak except mud. What makes this adhere so well?

I believe it wouldn't be that hard to take off if need be, but it seems like it sticks pretty well

Scuffs come from trying to hold position in the current and using the structure (bridge pilings, concrete ships, etc) to help hold the position. as the waves and current role through your kayak can constantly bump or grind up against that structure leading to tearing up the plastic.

I seems like it sticks well so far. I will have more to say after my trial run with it. No Idea what kind of substance they use for adhesion, but if someone found something that would work on kayaks it would be Yak Attack. The guy is a genius.

I'm cringing just thinking of the sound of that metal scraping against concrete...... like nails on a chalkboard.
