  • Standard Horizon HX100 charger

I recently found a Standard Horizon HX100 VHF radio. It still turns on but the battery is so low it turns itself off after a few seconds. I'd like to use it as a spare radio but it uses a different charger than my other Standard Horizon radio. The HX100 also appears to be discontinued and I can't find a charger for it online.

It's a long shot but if anyone has an old charger for the HX100 that they don't use anymore and would be willing to part with please let me know.

Also, if you lost your HX100 and think this might be yours, message me.

I did, most of what I was finding were replacement batteries or power cables. The HX100 require a charging cradle (Standard Horizon part number CD-56) and from what I can tell, the charging cradle has a separate power cable that either plugs into an AC outlet or a cigarette lighter in your car. That power cable is mostly what I found.

I contacted Standard Horizon directly to see if they can help me get the charger I need, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Thanks, I did not see that site in my searches. $26 seems reasonable
