I like the wrap but at some point you've gotta face reality and realize you are pedaling a small bass boat. Might as well by a Nitro at that point.

I know what you mean, Nay Sayer- For summer time fishing Mattawoman Creek, I am taking my OK Prowler yak completely bare- no electronics, only fishing tackle and pushing up in the lilly pads deep into the vegetation- about a third of the way in you find a few open water spots that hold a lot of fish- only a slick hull can get through, though....and these places are obviously snakehead hang outs-

That's a pretty sweet idea using a hand-pump. Going to have to look for one of those now.

I see it's unavailable? Let me know if you find it available somewhere or if amazon shows it in stock and I will do the same. I was thinking of an idea where you could have a manual valve where it could either function as a live well pump or as a bilage pump by turning a manual valve.

They sell the whole kit here. http://www.iboats.com/Whale-Water-Sy...view_id.191783

The link on Amazon appears to be the service kit for that pump not sure what it includes but most likely just the seals etc for it.

Snakehead fishing is definitely something I want to try in the coming summer months. Please let me know if you need a buddy this summer (if you don't mind 'showing me the ropes' b/c I've never done it before). Just bought a Hobie Revo 13 and I've got goosebumps just thinking about all the new opportunities!
