  • interchangable wheels

after 3 years having to unload my revo to get the wheeleez wheels into the scuppers when launching alone i went to BYBs and picked up a pair of wheels the hard type that will slip into the scuppers easily with out having to unload and and tip the revo on its side to get the wheels in. should make life easier. most spots i launch from these days have ramps but i will still be able to put the beach wheels on for sand launches

    material:
    2 1/2x 1 1/2 ss washers
    2 3/16 ss hitch pins
    1/8" split point drill bit
    2 hobie hard wheels

picked up all the material and will take some pix when i put it together

Nice... but how does this make it easier to put the wheels on without tipping the yak?

I see i see... my wheels are not quite as big as your old ones, but bigger than your new ones. I have a really hard time getting them on the yak without tipping it. May try smaller wheels like yours. Thanks!

this works well going from the sand wheels to road wheels but not from road wheels to beach wheels the road wheel axles are different so any one buying a hobie cart should get the beach wheels if they do any beach launches and make the conversion for less than 40 bucks for ramp launches
