The August issue has a kayak with a peddle drive that uses a propeller instead of the flippers for propulsion.Each cycle turns the propeller 10 times.All these new toys I waana waana.Got to go play the lottery.

I haven't seen one of those in person but they look more like a sit inside. lots of guys use those but from my research I believe the sit on top a better choice for bigger water. Just my 2 cents...

I've seen these and considered them in lieu of the hobie. The seem really nice but they do cost a bit more. They can go forward and backwards which is really nice, but the prop would really get caught up in the weeds.
