Great job, does it work as well as the one in the video you and I watched? If so we need to get together and build another one. By the way...I'm hitting Mallows Bay in the morning for some recon for next week...I'll keep you posted.

So far pulling it around my yard, it works great. We will give it a test on the C & O Canal tomorrow.

Looks like the wheels were the most expensive part. Did you check Harbor Freight?

I got the wheels from Northern Tool and Equipment. They were something like $14.99 each.

where did you get a threaded stainless steel rod? and the length/width you needed? thanks wfauby

The wheels I purchased had nice bearings with 1/2 inch openings for the axle.

I found the stainless steel threaded rod at Home Depot. The rods were in the nuts/bolts/hardware aisle. They sold stainless steel threaded rod in 3 foot long sections. Right next to the rod was a package of stainless steel nuts and washers that are designed to fit the 1/2 inch stainless steel threaded rod. I think it was packaged as ,"Create a Bolt."
