    Looking to get another yak in the spring has anyone tried the native propel drive models pros and cons?

      The propulsion force is not nearly as strong as the hobie mirage drive.

      A lot of people like the natve for freshwater bass fishing and other types of fishing that don't involve a strong current. Supposedly in a strong current the native drive is very over matched.

        I don't think you can get into as shallow water as in a Hobie but it has been a while since I looked at a Native. I know if you hit bottom the drive will kick up and you have to set it back in place.

        Going backwards would be nice but I would stick with Hobie.
