Spray paint bottom??

I have a trident 13 in the signature bright yellow. I am thinking of painting the bottom to a more camo coloring. Is there any special paint to use with the plastic or does spray paint work?

And also to me, Head Lamps don't matter. Actually I catch more with the head lamp on...

But splash of paddle matters when it is dead calm

I must agree with the others. I have caught bass in very clear water. Yellow does not seem to matter to the fish. Any noise is far worse than color.

Aside from that, ordinary paint is not going to hold to a typical plastic kayak. You may have to use some type of plastic coat, like one would used to coat tool handles. I would not go to all of that effort.

I only turn the lights off when I am fishing a light line. Headlamp and other lights are all on when fishing open water.

You could always add a few treble hooks to the bottom of the yak, might make a good topwater bait
