anyone use the Hawg Trough Bracket from yakattack? where did you mount it?

Don't have one, but mounting on a crate would work well, or on the pvc rod holder behind seat. I just have velcro on the back of my hawg trough and then the other velcro on my pvc rod holders -
not a bad idea with the velcro. i think i'll just attach 2 bungies to the side of my livewell(i use as a crate when not in use) and just slide it through.sigpicComment

I was going to do the Velcro but in cold weather I thought it would break trying to get it unhooked.So I tied a line from trough to my crate.So if I drop it over it would still be still easier to bring back to the yak.2012 hobie outback

My Manta Ray has bungee cords across the front hatch cover. I slide the Hawg Trough under the cords and can reach it easily from my seat.

I use my bungees in the back to hold my crate in the tankwell. There is a gap between the bungees and crate where I can slide mine through.
I did drop my hawg trough in the water during my last trip though. Luckily, I modified it like rob choi to have some foam material in the grooves on the under side, and I was able to retrieve it as it floated on the water.Comment
