Fish Finder battery gauge wire?

anybody know what gauge wire the lowarance elite 4 is running to the battery? i need to extend that wire

Lowrance states in its installation manual to use 18 guage wire to extend the power or ground wires. . Just don't forget the required 3 amp fuse.

Just don't forget the Dielectric grease at all the connections.
