  • Hobie Fishfinder mount on Sailmount

    Hello all,

I have recently acquired a Hobie Revolution 13 (Dune).
For my fish finder set up, I decided to follow ComeOnFish's idea of putting a PVC mount into the sailing mount. Pictures are attached.

The base is composite wood and is supposedly moisture resistant. Time will tell if it will stand in salt water.

I got my turbo fins and sailing rudder coming in by friday and getting that set up and going fishing on saturday,

    so excited!

Lol, I don't think I've gone to home depot just once for a project. I always have to go back!

Fish, can you post a pic of how it sits on the yak? I am thinking about pairing your rig with a RAM Transducer arm. Thanks.

Yeah, no prob! I don't have a garage so once I get on the water sat, I will do so.

                RavensDfense,

I completely forgot to take a picture of it yesterday. Sorry!
If you go to this video:
