  • Transducer location?

Does it matter or make a difference where the transducer is located inside the hull? Bow/Stern etc

That is up to you. Where is most comfy. If your fishing shore lines alot you want the best depth for where you are so upfront is nice, If your jigging or fishing deep the back will work as well.

The front gives you the most accurate reading if your caster outfront of yourself.

But again it comes down to space. IF it comfy fits there. Put it there.

In my pro angler I up in the front 1/3, and in the cuda it is closer to the middle. Had no problems with either location.

Does the mirage drive on the hobies have any affect on the transducer if located to close?

Had mine inside the hull right in front of the sail mast in my Pro Angler. This is just in front of the mirage drive and never had an issue.
