Kayak cover/Sleeve

All,

I am looking to reclaim some space in my shop/shed/barn. The building has a pretty big overhang and I was planning on hanging the yak underneath. However I would like to cover it before I hang it to keep birds. hornets, etc., out of it. They seem to like the shelter under the overhang, and I don't want them making a bigger mess in or on the kayak.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a cover? It's a Tarpon 140 I'm covering.

I don't know if you access to a Tarpon dealer (nearby?) but you could contact them and see what the kayaks are shipped in...when I picked up my Jackson it still had the heavy plastic wrapper on it...I simply cut the end open and slipped it out. I have saved it and winter the yak in it.

I have several kayaks/canoes and have been using these covers for years. Not completely waterproof but are great for keeping bugs, dirt, the sun etc, off the yak.
