Big tuna

Anybody own a big tuna? Looking for a tandem to take my five year old on. How does it paddle? Any recommendations for another tandem or have one to sell? Thanks

I have a Big Tuna...purchased from the fine folks a Delaware Paddlesports too. I think it is the bomb. It is bit heavy & that may be more of a concern for hauling than paddling, it paddles as good as anything I have been on. It is amazingly stable...you will want that with your youngster onboard. It is incredibly comfortable also. I am 6-2, 225 lbs, usually fish from the Hi seat position and have never flipped...even in 2 feet boat wakes. I am located in Frederick County if you wanna check it out. 95 percent of my kayak use is solo...I wanted a big yak...and when I take the daughter its a plus. I cannot comment on any other tandems, never been in one. Good luck.

Got the tuna. Used it solo for crabbing and it was fantastic. Paddled fast.

I did. The folks at the shop were very helpful. I will post pics next trip.
