Ok so I have a big tuna and it's very stable in the solo position. However when I bring my wiggly 5 year oldI keep feeling like we could flip at any moment in calm waters. If I add stabilizers my fear is it will damage in hull. And way to add stabilizers without hull damage? I want to use them when fishing with my son. Thinking about a homemade version with ram rod holders,PVC and floats. Any input appricated.

First I would want to know if it just a feeling or if the tuna will easily tip. Remember these kayaks can go side to side a ways without turtling, need to find out by safely turtling the kayak in a controlled setting so you know for sure. If then it needs some extra stability Scotty and others make pre made kits to install on just about any kayak.Last edited by On the fly; 09-24-2013, 09:50 AM.
