milk crate alternative

So since the Eagle Talon wont fit a milk crate in the rear tank well, I got the idea for a ammo can "crate". I have been using this over the past summer and it has been working pretty well. The plano ammo can will fit three plano 3600 boxes and a smaller box for hooks. Also I have zip tied three rod holders to the back for storage when not in use.

Nice work! I like the simplicity. Almost got one of those for my trident for the minimalistic trips

How do you have it anchored down?

There are 4 eye bolts attached to the box. Then I used bungee balls to secure the box to the pre installed bungee buttons.

Looks good but you may want to consider adding a 'keeper' bungie across the top going across to the 3 Plano boxes to keep them on-board in case you turtle. Would really suck to see an entire box of tackle slide into the deep.

It locks closed. Check out the second photo. I only open it to change baits, other then that it states locked
