  • Transducer Arm

    Thinking about outfitting my kayak with a fish and go with the transducer . Yak Attack just came out with a nice rail mount combo yesterday that caught my eye. It's a battery box that's rail mounted, with the option to mount a fish finder and transducer arm on top. My question is, how much drag is by the arm, if any? I have the option to go thru the hull, but from what I'm seeing, that is not the best option. Anyone with the arm, can you shed some light on drag created. Thanks.

    I had one mounted on the rail and the drag is no problem.

      Same here. Drag was extremely minimum.

        I agree as well. The transducer arms create minimal drag. Sometimes floating weeds can be collected but I can usually clear mine from my seat with the paddle.



        If there are too many weeds in the area I can flip mine up:
