  • Any experience with Thermacell foot warmers?

Someone on the Native Watercraft Pro Staff team told me about heated insoles made by Thermacell. http://www.thermacell.com/heated-insoles-foot-warmers

They use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries embedded in the insoles to provide heat to your feet. They come with a remote control device that allows you to adjust the amount of heat. They are expensive, however ($135 for a pair).

Does anyone on this forum use Thermacells? If so, what do you think of them?

For significantly less money you can get insoles with a built in slot near the toes for the disposable heat packs. No remore control for adjusting the temp. but like I said, significantly less expensive. They have worked well for me sitting completely still in hunting boots down into single digit temps. They make "foot warmers" to use in them but the standard size hand warmers fit just fine.
