I have had this Old Town loon for a decade and never rigged it out. I have fished with rods laying at my feet and a tackle box on the front seat.
This weekend I got started on my spring project.
First I had to install a couple of rod holders. Thank I used PVC and a 2X4 to build the motor mount. Tomorrow I will trim that board down and put a couple of inches of pipe into the three rod holders. I saw a youtube video where someone mounted a transponder post on the opposite side from the motor.
