I bought the Noco Genius G750.

      http://www.amazon.com/NOCO-G750-Batt...co+genius+g750

I've only had to charge the battery once this year but it has worked great.

From what I read before buying mine, the quality of the charger plays a huge role in the life of the battery. So the little extra money on the front end saves you on battery replacement frequency in the long run.

Whatever you decide to get, I read it was not recommended to get a charger that goes over 1000ma/h to charge a smaller battery (mine is 7ah) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Charging too quickly will kill the battery too.

I got this one for $17.00
        Black & Decker BM3B 6V and 12V Battery Charger / Maintainer

Been very happy with it so far and a surprise bonus for me was that the flat two wire connector that comes off the charger plugs right into the flat two wire i had already rigged coming out of my battery box.

I bought the CTEK MUS 4.3
            http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006G14FK8

This thing is great. It has multiple settings. There's a small battery setting for my FF battery. The large battery setting for my trolling motor battery. It has a restore setting that brought an old Die Hard back from the dead, so it has already paid for itself.

The device works in multiple modes to charge your battery and finishes with a pulse trickle charge that keeps my trolling motor battery at peak. The only time I unplug it is to charge my FF battery or hit the water.

Plus 1 on the Ctek if you have a trolling motor battery. The NoCo 750 will be perfect for a small 5AH battery.

                http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender...Battery+tender
I have a battery tender that I use for my 7ah batteries as we'll at trolling batteries. The trolling battery takes longer to charge but it gets the job done. Plus you don't every have to worry about overcharging the battery or removing it from the charger when it's done

I have the 3500 from NOCO. It has a small battery/large battery switch so you can charge a 7aH fishfinder battery or a trolling motor battery.

Another vote for the ctek 4.3
Very good price for an 8 stage charger that will charge small FF batteries and any large battery as well.
