  • Nanofil?... What's your opinion?

    Saturday I had to put my ultralight spinning reel away due to monofilament deterioration. Need to re-spool it before the weekend and I was thinking of trying the Berkley Nanofil. Supposed to be the cat's ass in lightweight spinning line.

    Anybody try it for spinning?

    i used it for 2 years... 8 lb.. its tough as nails.. and wil cast a country mile

    its pretty solid stuff..

    i prefer it better then braid on spinning set ups.. just wish it wasnt white

      I don t know if it just but my experience w nanofil is as follows:
      Good- ease of used, no memory ,cast so smoothly

      Bad- line cut midway so i did loss alot of it when snag-white in. Color but ive heard moss green, maybe its better

        I found that it is loud going through the guides. Other than that, it's nice.
