    Auto and marine supply stores have kits that make it fairly simple. You should give that a try.

        I agree with Memory Maker. Fiberglass is easy. You still won't be able to sit on it... and it may not be real pretty... but it will hold up a whole lot longer.

        Plastic dip will be more expensive and not nearly as rigid.

        While you are at it.... you can use the fiberglass to mount a few tie down points just so it doesn't fall out in the event of a turtle.
