Thinking about pick'n up a new seat. Anyone have any recommendations? Something in a high back and soft cushy arse area.

I just got this seat and the first time out it seemed very comfortable.

Surf to summit makes a nice seat and also Swoosh makes a decent angler edition. I have a Surf to Summit and really like it, can stay seated for hours, it will raise you up a little off the yak, my only complaint is it can get a little hot in the summer, but sitting for hours any where can get hot. check them out and let me know, I lucked out, the kayak I bought used the seller left it on the Kayak and cash in hand to late to ask for it back.Don't know if it works until you try it.

The butt pad on the skwoosh is nice, but the back pad needs more padding. I'd go with the STS one if you can spring for it.Hobie Local Fishing Team - Backyard Boats

This is the one that I have, the GTS Expedition. You can sit all day in the kayak, without feeling crippled at the end of the day. Save some money, get the one without the bag or rod holders. http://www.surftosummit.com/kayak-se...8nuag4bi64v372 If you live near Annapolis, and don't want to pay shipping, you can order one from West Marine, or for that matter any West Marine.
