Sounds like we have a good variety of places folks are fishing tomorrow, hopefully we will all enjoy some success and be able to pass on reports to help out our friends that will be stuck at work...when they get out later.
FL Boy-Thanks for the invite. Was preparing to join you guys a couple weeks ago but ended up at TerrPark. Did pretty well so it turned out ok. Already made plans to meet Goody at TP today. But I definitely want to check out the Goodhands launch...sooner than later. Hopefully next time.
John D. 2015 Hobie Revolution 13 GO RAVENS!!! GO ORIOLES!!!
Beverly and Rhode river were OK. Gusts were higher than expected and with the waves I decided to head into Rhode river to fish for perch. Found bunches along the docks and headed back into the bay to try for stripers or blues. Marked fish amongst the crab traps but trolling a crank bait and spoons didn't produce.
The Narrows wasn't very good either. I only managed some white perch. Got several bites while casting and trolling my normal lures, but couldn't seem to get hooked up for some reason. :/
The bay looked REALLY rough when I went across the bridge around 7am this morning, one powerboat coming out of SPSP looked like it was in a rodeo...bucking all over.
When we got on the water out of Goodhands the breeze was blowing, but continued to build for about 3 hours. By 10:30 or 11 am the wind started to die down. When I came back across the bay bridge around 2pm, it looked like the bay really calmed down, but it wasn't flat by any stretch of the imagination. I only saw one kayak south of the eastbound span on near the east end of the bridge.
