Looking for relaxing spot similar to Weems Creek

I love going to Weems mainly because it is peaceful and I don't have to fight rough waters.
I like to just relax on my kayak and catch a few fish and look at the scenary.

Lately, I've been getting bored with Weems so I was wondering if you guys could recommend me some locations with calm waters with great views and few people.

Church Creek, accessible from Homeport Park

The Rhode River is pretty quiet and not very built up. You can launch from Carr's warf or the Smithsonian center. If you go early or get lucky you can land on the small island and have lunch.
