Anybody Fish the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Recently?

I've been thinking about hitting the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and was wondering if anyone has fished there recently? I'm getting an urge to reel in some cats and whatever else might be down that way.

Was down there last Friday with my brother. Complete skunk, not even a bite. Went across to the spoils in the morning looking for the bass bite, and when that failed for both of us, we threw out some cut gizzard shad and still nothing. Then paddled back over and soaked some more bait off the pier over there. Still nada. You might be alright though, I've had a lot of those kinds of trips lately though...so maybe I'm just bad at this fishing thing...

I was there two weeks ago one evening. I scored a couple bass between National Harbor and Broad Creek. It was slow. The whole area has been in a funk the last two years.

I'm pretty sure you could still drop down chunks of raw chicken next to the bridge and fill a cooler with blue cats.
