the kayak segment seems to be moving forward at a pretty fast pace with new and improved products options and features... rather then the diy in the garage...now you can but it from the factory. wonder what the next few years bring to market???
Any idea on the price? I saw the price on the hobie torqeedo and I will never be buying that thing unless I win the lottery.
I don't think there will be too much for a while after all this new stuff hits the market. Maybe a lightweight pedal drive kayak. I think hurricane might be the only company using trylon, but seems like Hobie could use that material for their hulls and drop quite a bit of weight. Supposed to be real stiff and very lightweight.
